You're Showing Up Online. But Is Anyone Actually Seeing You?

You're posting. You're sharing value. You're doing everything you're supposed to do and still, something isn't landing.
Here's a thought, what if the content isn't the problem?
There's a strange irony that plays out for a lot of business owners. They put real effort into showing up online, writing posts, sharing insights, building a presence and then completely undermine all of it with a profile photo that looks like an afterthought.
We're talking the default LinkedIn silhouette. The holiday selfie with a cocktail half-cropped out. The photo you love from someone's wedding in 2014 where you've been caught mid-laugh.
First Impressions Happen Fast
It's not that they are terrible photos at all. But before anyone reads a single word you've written, they've already clocked your photo and made a decision. It takes less than a second. And if that image says "I haven't really thought about this," it quietly puts a question mark over everything else you're putting out there.
Appearing Credible & Authentic
You've seen it! There's so much AI-generated content everywhere, so a real, human, professional photo is one of the fastest ways to signal that there's an actual person behind your work. Someone credible. Someone who takes their business seriously.
Without it, even genuinely brilliant content can feel anonymous. And anonymous doesn't get people connecting with you or picking up the phone.

It's Not About Vanity
A lot of people put off getting professional headshots because it feels self-indulgent, or they're not sure they'll like the results, or sadly they don't feel worthy of being in a professional photo. But really, your photo isn't about you. It's about making the person looking at your profile feel like they can trust you.
A good headshot that actually looks like you on a good day, with a bit of personality and warmth in it does quiet, consistent work every single time someone lands on your profile.
